Think it’s unrealistic to coat 300 m² of plasterboard in just two hours? Think again! With Airless technology, Beissier experts take on the challenge and demonstrate, in a video, how they successfully coat such a large surface in record time.
Applying a coating quickly while maintaining a high-quality finish? It’s possible. The Beissier experts took on this challenge in a 120 m² house under renovation, where they had to coat 300 m² of plaster in just two hours—without smoothing.
To achieve this, two coating specialists were enlisted. Equipped with an Airless machine with a minimum flow rate of 3 litres per minute, they selected Bagar Airliss F, a ready-to-use, two-in-one finishing paste designed for Airless application. This product allows for application up to 1 mm thick and does not require a primer, eliminating an entire step and significantly reducing the time required.
For optimal spraying results, Beissier experts recommend using special Airless machine nozzles starting from 5.25. Here, the number 5 indicates a 50° spray angle, while 25 represents the nozzle diameter (in thousandths of an inch).
With the equipment ready, it’s time to get to work! Surface preparation is crucial before coating begins:
Once the preparation is complete, the surface is ready for coating. With Airless technology and Bagar Airliss F, application is fast, completed in a single pass, and requires no smoothing. By working as a team, the Beissier experts further optimize efficiency—one operates the sprayer while the other refills the machine.
In just two hours, the Beissier experts successfully completed their mission, coating 300 m² with precision and efficiency. The final steps? Cleaning the Airless machine and, for an even smoother finish, lightly sanding the surface after drying.
